Reflexology Supporting Conception
I specialise in Reflexology to try and aid conception for those experiencing sub fertility issues where there is no medical reason why pregnancy should not occur. Whether this may be in trying for a baby for the first time or for a subsequent pregnancy, then Reflexology has been found to be beneficial for some people and I am always overjoyed when my clients announce their pregnancies, as it is such a rewarding part of my job, but there can never be any guarantees.
So many people tell you "just relax and it will happen" but this is not easy when trying to get pregnant has become your sole focus and it isn't happening and this can lead to stress, anxiety and even depression. I have experience with this myself and had my first child under unusual circumstances. My aim is to support you through your conception journey (not judge), help you understand the things you need to do to give yourself the best possible chance to get pregnant and to help you naturally relax. Sometimes, for some women, it can mean coming to terms with the fact that they may not be able to have children.
I do not believe in creating a "package price" for this, as some therapists do, because you should not have to block book or pay up front. I feel this can mislead some into expecting that pregnancy will occur at the end of the package and I do not want my clients to feel exploited, at such a vulnerable time. I charge the standard Reflexology rate at each treatment and if you have 5 treatments then you get the 6th half price. Some women may not need many treatments and others may need more, so we will review this, as we go along, and in line with what you can afford. It is generally best to have at least 3 treatments fairly close together and we may need to first try and get the body into some sort of regular menstrual cycle. You will be provided with a free information sheet with useful tips to help enhance your chances of getting pregnant.
Reflexology can also be used alongside the use of Clomid or during certain stages of IVF treatments.
